Probably what keeps us gardeners heading back into the dirt and heat day after day (besides the therapeutic value) is the amazing secret world we discover where others just see plants and insects.
There's always far more than one could ever record, but here's some interesting oddities I've found:
This year about every ten to fifteen raspberries was a double or triple berry. Weird.

I noticed one particular delphinium was particularly strong this year, resisting the wind and standing tall. Upon closer examination I discovered it had a double stem.

It is very puzzling when planting materials and conditions seem identical but some things grow and other do not. This was the case with these sunflower seeds. One bed just boycotted the whole idea. Why? It's weird, that's why.
