On December 31st, my dear old cat/friend Ruby finally died. She was 21 years and 7 months old. She spent many hours here at the computer screen, either perched on my shoulder or across my lap. We loved her dearly and it's going to take a long time to get used to life without her.
She offered unconditional love at its finest. Farewell my sweet friend! You will be missed.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Losing a pet is heartbreaking. Your children must be missing her too as she has been there all their lives.
