Contact Info

I can be reached at empress of dirt at gmail dot com.

Truth be told, I never manage to respond to all my emails. Not even those from my very own dear mother. But I do read them....and I always enjoy getting them. But there's often more than I can manage so I felt I should forewarn you. Time is not a sustainable resource and we must use it wisely.

I update the Garden Shed Hall of Fame when time permits because it's simply for fun. So, if you send photos, please be patient. When I post them, I will notify you. You can do me a great favour by resizing what you do send to 800 pixels wide. That always speeds things up and prevent my inbox from choking and sputtering.

Also, if you really want my attention, you can always try jumping up and down in the comment box. Just don't bump your head.

Your blog is a delight! I'm glad I discovered it. I'm a writer from Tacoma, Washington with my own blog called Good Life Northwest. You might be interested in a post I just published. It's about a nurseryman who is a proponent of edible landscapes using little-known ornamentals that are both beautiful and produce delicious fruits with great health benefits. Here's the link: http://goodlifenw.blogspot.com

You are a genius! Your "cheap & easy pond filter trick/tip" is brilliant! My 160 gal. water garden was making me nuts. For the first time in 13 yrs. the water was like pea soup and I just could not clear it up. I used your "trick" Sat. morning and today (Wed) I CAN SEE THE BOTTOM OF MY POND! My fish say... thank you, thank you, thank you!

I really enjoy your blog and have been following it for a little while now. I've had you added as one of my favorite links on my website and was wondering if you would do the same for me. Thanks
